Frosted windshield nets Kenora driver fine & charge

A Kenora motorist is probably wishing they had spent a few extra minutes clearing their windshield Thursday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police stopped the vehicle and posted a photo to their social media of the windshield, which shows it partially scrapped free of frost, but not completely.

Driving with a partially obstructed windshield is both unsafe and illegal.

In addition to the charge the drive was hit with a $110 fine.

Police want to remind motorists to ensure their vehicles are free of snow and ice before they head out on the road.
