Synergy North has launched a survey for anyone who utilizes its services in Thunder Bay and Kenora.
The purpose of the survey is to receive feedback on sustainability with a focus on environmental, social, and governance (ESG).
The survey is supposed to take approximately 15 minutes to complete and it seeks input from customers, employees, and other stakeholders.
Addressing the significance of this initiative, says Andy Armitage, Vice President, Customer Care, IT & Strategic Planning, ” Hearing from customers, employees, and stakeholders is vital to supporting the future. The materiality analysis allows us to ensure we are focusing on the issues most important to our stakeholders.”
Participants will respond to a range of questions focused on ESG aspects, aiding Synergy North in evaluating and monitoring various business operations that are identified as important to its customers.
“We understand our customers’ interest in our activities and their expectations for us to lead as an environmental steward, a progressive employer, and an active contributor to social and economic growth,” noted Armitage.
The public engagement survey is running until February 9th, 2024.
The survey can be accessed here.
All participants who respond to the survey will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a cart full of groceries from a local market. A winner will be announced each week, for five weeks.
“Your input is not just welcomed— it’s essential. By dedicating 15 minutes to this survey, you become an influencer in steering our environmental, social, and governance practices. Your insights will directly contribute to identifying areas of opportunity and ensuring that our operations align with your expectations. Moreover, your participation enables Synergy North to better understand the evolving landscape of ESG,” says Armitage.
“Synergy North emphasizes the importance of utilizing data from various sources to measure results and envision future growth opportunities related to environmental, social, and governance factors.“This is not just a survey; it’s a chance for you to actively shape the responsible practices of your utility provider,” added Armitage.
