Missing 5-year-old found near Dryden

A search for a missing five-year-old from northeastern Ontario has ended safely in Dryden.

OPP says Nakina Boyer was found with her mother in a vehicle that was pulled over near the city on Saturday at around 7 p.m.

Police say both were passengers.

Boyer was reported missing last Monday after leaving her home at Mississauga First Nation near Blind River.

She had gone with her mother for a scheduled appointment at 10:30 a.m. but failed to attend.

No Amber Alert was issued.

Police continue to look into the matter.
