The president and CEO of Lake of the Woods Hospital is retiring.
Ray Racette will be stepped down from the position in June.
It didn’t take long to find his replacement.
Cheryl O’flaherty, the hospital’s vice-president of operations and Chief fincial officer.
She becomes the first female CEO of the hospital.
O’Flaherty is the Kenora resident and has spent the past 20 years working in various capacities at the hospital.
