The Makwa Patrol says it will still have a presence in downtown Kenora.
That despite the fact it will be locating it’s administrative offices in Keewatin.
Makwa has been working with the City of Kenora and will have it’s administrative offices located in the Keewatin Fire Hall.
Ever since it was formed in 2020, it’s been working out of office space in the second floor of a building at the corner of Main and Second Street South.
Makwa says the new office offers more space to work out of.
It says there will also be a small space within this building the patrollers can access as a place to distribute supplies to patrons.
