It looks like it’s going to cost a bit more to do get a report on the state of the Portage Bay Bridge.
Initially, the city has set aside 100 thousand dollars for the a bridge assessment.
Director of Engineering and Infrastructure Greg Breen says the report would look at any required maintenance, repair, and potential replacement of the Portage Bay Bridge.
The city’s engineering department is seeking an additional 80 thousand dollars for the work.
