Saints and Bronco hockey teams heading to OFSAA

Two high school hockey teams from Kenora are heading to the All-Ontario A/AA championships in Brooklin near Oshawa.

The Beaver Brae boys and the St. Thomas Aquinas girls are competing in the OFSAA finals starting tomorrow morning.

The Broncos are ranked 15th are on the ice at 9 am against Thousand Islands Secondary School near Brockville, the number 4 ranked team in the tournament.

The Saints take on the number one seed Holy Trinity Christian High School from Simcoe also at 9 am on Tuesday.

TA comes in with the 14th rank.

Pool play ends on Wednesday, with the top two teams from each pool advancing to the play-offs.
