Another Mastromatteo has qualified for the Olympic trials in Montreal in May.
Tazio Mastromatteo earned a silver medal at the recent Speedo Western Swimming Championships in Winnipeg.
He also won gold in the 100 meter breaststroke, a silver in the 50 meter breaststroke and bronze in the 200 meter breaststroke at the Man/Sask championships in Saskatoon.
In the meantime, the Kenora Swimming Sharks are hosting their first meet since the onset of Covid, on April 13th and 14th.
