The KMTS Citizen’s Prosperity Trust Fund is starting to make money for the City of Kenora again.
Last year, the Trust Fund rose by $3.6 million/
That follows a couple of years of losses due to the pandemic and poor markets.
Right now, the Prosperity Trust Fund stands at $45.6 million, up from just over $42 million in 2022.
The city uses interest from the fund to help offset any tax increase.
