Sioux Lookout wins game 1 of SIJHL final

The Sioux Lookout Bombers handed the Kam River Fighting Walleye its first loss of the post-season.

The Bombers opened the SIJL final with a 5-3 victory last night.

Tait Howell had a hat trick to lead the Bombers offense.

Sioux Lookout leads the best-of-seven series 1-0 with game two tonight at the Northwest Arena in Oliver-Paipoonge.

The winner of the Bill Salonen Cup will automatically qualify for the Centennial Cup championships in Oakville.
