WNHAC receives funding for two programs

Just over $725,000 will be going to Waasegiizhig Nanaandawe’iyewigamig (WNHAC) for a pair of new programs.

$382,000 will go towards an HIV and AIDS education and prevention program in the Kenora area.

The second pot of funding, $345,000 will be used to set up a Hepatitis C program.

The money will go to an outreach team for education and prevention programs for at-risk populations.

WNHAC says this is annual funding from the Ministry of Health.
