Hospital receives funding for new training mannequin

The RBC Foundation has donated $20,000 to Lake of the Woods District Hospital for the purchase of a training mannequin.

It’s called “MegaCode Kelley”.

The mannequin provides real-time, simulated, critical care scenarios.

It replaces a 20 year old old unit.

The new mannequin is designed to practice advanced, difficult obstructed airway scenarios, IV therapy and cardiac defibrillation.
