OPP issue long list of charges in Dryden assault

The OPP in Dryden have laid a total of 15 charges against a 42 year old in connection to an assault complaint.

Police say the call came at around 5:30 last Thursday afternoon on Wilson Street.

As a result of their investigation officers have laid charges of spousal assault, two for destroying or damaging property, uttering threats to damage property.

The accused also faces four charges of failing to comply with a release order, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

The suspect is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear before court in Dryden.
