The Kinross Gold Corporation is continuing the planning process for a new mine near Red Lake.
An impact assessment is taking place on the Great Bear Gold project.
The proposed mine is located about 23 kilometers southeast of Red Lake.
Information sessions will take place via Zoom or there will be two in-person events.
One will take place in Ear Falls on May 28th and another one will take place a day later in Red Lake.
