OPP seize a large amount of drugs in Kenora

The Kenora OPP have made a significant drug bust.

About $700,000 worth of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine were seized from a residence on 11th Avenue North.

Officers also found a quantity of Canadian currency and other items associated with drug trafficking.

The OPP’s Kenora Street Crimes Unit, the Kenora and Dryden Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, and the Treaty #3 Police executed a search warrant last Friday afternoon around 5:00 (May 10th).

A 22 from Etobicoke was arrested and charged with:

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

· Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine

· Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid

· Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

The accused is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora at a later date.
