13 million in building permits issued to start 2024

A pretty good first quarter for building permits in the City of Kenora.

Director of Planning and Building Janis Pochailo says they had over $13 million worth of building permits issued.

“Most of our applications are for alterations, and docks permits and little things, but there five new dwellings and one secondary suite,” Pochailo told council recently.

She points out there were a total of 42 applications for building permits in the first three months of 2024.
