Council approves municipal paving contract

The City of Kenora will be spending just over $2.7 million on municipal paving this year.

Council approved the expenditure at this week’s open meeting.

Moncrief Construction has been given the tender for the road work.

That includes the rehabilitation of Lakeview Drive, which is currently going on.

While no completion date has been given for that project, the city says it will be completed before the beginning of the peak tourist season.
