Measles case in Sioux Lookout tests negative

The Northwestern Health Unit has confirmed a probable case of the measles turned out to test negative.

Lab tests were conducted and they were not positive for the measles.

As a result, anyone who might have been isolating or monitoring their symptoms after exposure can discontinue any measures they have taken.

The Health Unit was concerned about the spread of the virus, and put out a release last Thursday with possible locations for exposure.
