Expect another summer of detours in the Lakeside area.
Moncrief Construction is completing sewer and water repairs on 5th Street South.
The work will begin this morning, but there is no word how long contruction will last.
The area between 6th Avenue to 8th Avenue South will be closed to traffic and pedestrians, though local traffic will be permitted.
Detour signs will also be posted.
