Kenora Pride plans an eventful weekend

A big weekend for Kenora Pride.

A parade will be taking place Saturday followed by a community barbeque.

Co-chair of Kenora Pride Andrea Campbell says the parade will make its way through downtown Kenora.

“We’re going to start at the Rotary Peace Park and we’re going to gather there,” says Campbell.

“You can come ahead at noon if you want to make a poster to march with and the march is going to start at 1 pm.”

Campbell adds that they’ll make their way throughout downtown Kenora.

“We’re also inviting anybody that wants to decorate a vehicle or a float or a motorcycle, because we are on the road this year and we’ll end up at the Muse.”

Kenora Pride will also be holding a cabaret Saturday night at the LOWBREWCO tap room.
