OPP arrest suspect in Ignace

The OPP in Ignace have arrested one person in connection to an incident in Ignace.

Officers received a call for service on Spruce Street around 1 am Tuesday morning.

Police haven’t released any details of the disturbance, but an 18-year-old has been taken into custody.

They face a number of charges including two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking, two counts of assaulting a peace officer, two counts of resisting police and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

They remain in custody pending a court appearance in Dryden for a future date.
