Shelter-in-place order now over

The OPP say a shelter in place advisory on the Lac Seul First Nation is now over.

The community safety alert was issued this morning after police began searching for a man who was believed to be in possession of a firearm in the Kejick Bay area.

Provincial Police says he has been apprehended without incident.

The Lac Seul Police along with canine units, and the OPP’s Emergency Response Team helped were all involved in the search.

The OPP issued the shelter-in-place order because they had concern for public safety.
