Air Canada talks push back Canada Post, union meetings

The Air Canada labour dispute has delayed Canada Post talks.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers says scheduled meetings for today and Monday have been postponed.

It’s because of a lack of available federal mediators.

CUPW members rejected Canada Post’s ‘final offer’ on August 1.

The union says they’ve prepared offers addressing workers demands, and are awaiting confirmation on when talks with Canada Post will resume.

A nationwide overtime ban remains in effect.
