A Winnipeg couple with a cottage on Clearwater Bay is the latest to make a generous donation to the Beyond the Scan campaign.
Doug Harvey and Jan Shute have donated $50,000 this year towards the latest campaign by the Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
They are pledging a total of $250,000 towards the purchase of a new MRI and other technical improvements at the hospital.
The goal of the campaign which includes the purchase of an MRI, and a new CAT scan aims to generate more than $8.5 million.
