Another drug bust in Dryden

Three people have been arrested for drug trafficking in Dryden.

On Wednesday afternoon around 5:00, the Dryden OPP, the OPP’s Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and the Treaty #3 Police executed a search warrant on a residence on Memorial Avenue.

Police seized a quantity of fentanyl, morphine pills, oxycodone pills, Canadian currency, and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Those arrested include a 60 year old man, a 45 and a 44 year old woman.

In addition to trafficking charges, they have been charged with possession of proceeds of crime over 5 thousand dollars.

The male suspect also faces a charge of obstructing police.

They are being held at the Kenora Jail and will appear in court on Monday to face the charges.
