Another drug bust in Dryden

A 60 year old man faces five drug trafficking charges after he was arrested in Dryden Monday afternoon.

The OPP say they initially arrested the man in the afternoon on charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

A short time later, officers executed a search warrant on a residence on Mary Avenue.

Police seized a quantity of cocaine, fentanyl, methamphatamine, hydromorphone pills, oxycodone, nine thousand dollars in Canadian currency and other items associated with drug trafficking.

In addition to the drug trafficking charges, he faces a charge of possessin of proceeds of property obtained by crime over five thousand dollars.

He remains in custody at the Kenora Jail pending a court appearance on Thursday.
