The search for a 46-year-old La Croix man has ended tragically.
The Treaty Three Police began searching for Peter Buckle last November.
He left his residence by boat, but never arrived at his destination.
An extensive marine search was conducted on both sides of the border at the time.
On June 6th, his body was finally found on the US side of the lake.
American authorities have taken over the investigation because his body was found in the United States.
