Boil water advisory in effect for part of Airport Road

Residents living on a section of Airport Road in Kenora are asked to boil their water.

The boil water advisory was issued after a sudden loss of pressure in the water line.

The area affected is from 1052 Airport Road to the Weyerhaeuser Mill.

The City of Kenora says due to the pressure loss, the safety of the drinking water cannot be guaranteed.

All water from taps should be boiled for at least one minute if it is used for human consumption.

The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
