Cat Lake signs MOU with PRT Growing Services

One of the largest tree seedling producers in North America has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Cat Lake First Nation.

PRT Growing Services signed the MOU Tuesday in Thunder Bay during Cat Lake’s Bio-economy stakeholder meeting.

The agreement not only cover training and employment opportunities at it’s Dryden nursery, but offers a collaboration of a future nursery on Cat Lake.

Chief Russell Wesley says the MOU allows them to learn from an industry leader and supports the regeneration of future forests.
