Cat Lake woman charged with drug trafficking

The Nishnawbe Aski Police say they have made an arrest on the Cat Lake First Nation.

Officers were called out Thursday afternoon to deal with possible drug trafficking at the airport in that community.

Upon investigation, police found a quantity of methamphetamine.

A 27 year old woman from Cat Lake was arrested.

As she was taken into custody she became agressive and resisted arrest.

She’s been charged with drug trafficking and obstructing a peace officer.
