City council approves BIZ levy

The Kenora Business Improvement Zone will be getting just under $45,000 in it’s levy from property owners in the downtown area.

City council approved the levy at it’s most recent open meeting.

The money will go towards maintainance, beautification, and improvement projects.

The funding will also help with promotional campaigns for the downtown area.

The city says the levy is the same as last year.
