The accessible playground on Coney Island is now complete.
The City of Kenora says it will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for the play area next week.
It will take place next Tuesday at 2:30 pm.
The Coney Island Shuttle will have a complimentary service from 1 til 2 pm for anyone who want to go over to the island for the ceremony.
In the meantime, the Kenora Rotary Club says it has raised just over $900 from its Beer for a Cause campaign with Lake of the Woods Brewing Company.
Rotary has committed $66,000 towards the playground project.
