Lorraine Cobiness has been returned as chief of the Niisaachewan (Dalles) First Nation north of Kenora.
Cobiness was re-elected in band elections this past weekend.
This is her ninth consecutive term as chief.
She also is the president of the Kenora Chiefs Advisory.
Others elected to the band council are Reno Cameron, Elijah Jameson, Fabien Blackhawk and Leanne Cobiness.
