As expected the speed limit on most of Rabbit Lake Road is being reduced.
The length of the road, all the way from Valley Drive to the old Jaffrey Melick town office has been deemed a Community Safety Zone.
That’s a distance of 2.3 kilometers.
It now means the speed limit has been reduced to 40 kilometers an hour.
New signs are being posted notifying of the change.
