A fire has destroyed a boathouse on Coney Island.
The blaze broke out early Saturday evening on the south side of the island.
Several boaters arrived on the scene with pumps in an attempt to put out the flames and prevent their spread.
A dock and another smaller building were also damaged.
There is no word on whether anyone was injured.
No cause has yet been identified.
