The Town of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls is going ahead with the development of Pioneer Park.
That despite significant opposition from neighbors, permanent and seasonal residents of the community.
A special meeting was held earlier this month to pass a resolution to proceed.
Ayrie Developments Inc. will be developing the property, which has 26 lots.
The town says only phase one of the development will go ahead at this time as an Environmental Assessment has be done.
In the meantime, the town is working on re-zoning the property and making official plan amendments.
