Did you watch the Golden Globes last night?

Did you lounge on your sofa to watch the 83rd Annual Golden Globes last night?

A lot of talent took home awards, including Timothée Chalamet, who won best lead actor in a musical or comedy for his performance in Marty Supreme (a ping-pong movie that’s kind of about ping-pong but also not really…if you watched it, you know what I mean).

Adolescence, a psychological crime drama series on Netflix, won a total of four awards. Stephen Graham won best actor in a limited series, Erin Doherty winning best supporting actress on TV. Owen Cooper, the 16-year-old actor, won best supporting actor on TV, making him the youngest winner in that category.

I was thrilled to hear that KPop Demon Hunters won best animated motion picture and best original song. EJAE and Mark Sonnenblick co-wrote the lyrics for “Golden.” If you know EJAE’s story, she trained for 10 years to be a K-pop idol, only to be rejected. Now, she is finally on stage again, performing “Golden” in front of a global audience.

What were some of your favourite wins from the night?
