The Falcon Lake RCMP are investigating a drowning on Caddy Lake in Whiteshell Provincial Park.
Police along with the Whiteshell fire department and paramedics were contacted shortly after 1:00 Thursday afternoon.
Two men had entered the water, but only one resurfaced.
The fire department was able to locate the missing man under water, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The RCMP say it was a 23-year-old from Winnipeg.
