Dryden Ag Society receives NOHFC funding for barn

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund has confirmed it will be providing $500,000 to the Dryden Agricultural Society.

The grant will go towards a new barn on the Agricultural Society’s fair grounds on Scott Street.

The City of Dryden has already given approval to the barn and construction will take place once the frost comes out of the grounds.

The site plan also includes new riding arenas on its property.

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford says construction of a new, modern barn ensures the Dryden Fairgrounds can continue to operate for years to come.
