Dryden OPP recover the bodies of two drowning victims

The Dryden OPP have released more information about the tragic drowning of two people over the weekend on Wabigoon Lake.

Police were initially contacted around 4:00 Saturday afternoon about two people who entered the water and failed to surface.

The body of a 5-year-old boy was pulled from the water near Flat Rock Park Sunday morning around 7:15.

On Sunday evening, just before 6:00, the body of a 28-year-old man was recovered.

This the second time in two months, that two people have drowned in Dryden.
