Eagles defeat Broncos in WHSFL playoffs

The Dryden Eagles are moving onto the second round of the Winnipeg High School Football League playoffs.

The Eagles downed their NORWOSSA rivals from Kenora, the Beaver Brae Broncos 37-13 Thursday afternoon to advance.

Dryden’s opponent in the next round of the playoffs has yet to be determined, based on the games played today.

The Fort Frances Muskies are in action this afternoon as they take on the St. John’s Tigers at the East Side Eagles stadium in Winnipeg.
