Eagles shut out by Celtics in WHSFL AAA final

The Dryden Eagless Football Club were unable to score against the St. Norbert Celtics this season.

The two teams played in the AAA division final yesterday at Princess Auto Stadium, and the Celtics came away with a 10-0 win.

St. Norbert also blanked Dryden 21-0 when they met during the regular season.

The Celtics had a 4-3 record during the regular season but beat the John Taylor Pipers and the 1st place team in the league, the Churchill Bulldogs to advance to the final.

The Eagles downed two of their NORWOSSA rivals in the playoffs, the Beaver Brae Broncos and the Fort Frances Muskies, to advance to the final.
