Ear Falls Unifor employees accept 3-year deal

Unifor says employees with the Township of Ear Falls have voted in favour of a new three-year deal.

The agreement calls for a 14 percent increase over the three years, including an 8 percent increase this year, and 3 percent in the next two years.

Unifor says it represents around 20 employees, and they voted 91 percent in favour of the deal.

The contract also includes a $500 signing bonus and other benefit increases.

The deal is retroactive to April 1st and expires March 31st, 2028.
