Elections Ontario promises to be ready

Elections Ontario says it will be ready for Wednesday’s election call.

A spokesperson tells Acadia News that returning officers are in place across the province who are working to secure office space and voting locations.

Recruitment of staff to work during the election is also underway.

Under election laws, voters in Ontario can cast ballots as early as the first day after an election call.

Elections Ontario says it will ensure anyone who wants to vote is able to do so.

Voters are also being encouraged to visit Elections Ontario’s website to ensure they are registered to vote.

Anyone interested in working for Elections Ontario can visit its jobs website.
