Join us as Survivors of the Indian Residential School system from Wauzhushk Onigum Nation share about their healing journey and recently released book set, Kaatagoging.

Since 2021, the Survivors have been walking towards truth and reconciliation as they investigate the St. Mary’s (Kenora) Indian Residential School that operated in their territory from 1897 to 1972. This book set is their story, told in the words of the Survivors themselves across four volumes that span from Time Immemorial, through the history of colonization and the residential school era, into the ongoing impacts today and their vision for the future.
