But the competition doesn’t stop there! We also have the coveted Youth Award\, celebrating the talent and enthusiasm of the younger generation\, and the prestigious 100 Plus award\, recognizing those who go above and beyond to reel in exceptional catches. \nImmerse yourself in the spirited atmosphere of our tournament\, where a staggering 120 teams gather to put their skills to the ultimate test. With each team investing their passion and expertise\, the stakes couldn’t be higher. \n​ \nTo participate in this event\, simply pay the entry fee of $500.00\, a small investment for a chance to claim the glory and substantial cash prizes. We believe in giving back to our anglers\, which is why we dedicate 100% plus of the entry fees to the prize pool. Welcome back to the event this town’s been hungry for! \nJoin us for our SECOND ANNUAL LAKE OF THE WOODS BREWING COMPANY RIB FEST – allllll weekend long! \nSeptember 5\, 6 & 7 | FREE ENTRY \nBrewers Village | 1415 Valley Drive\, Kenora \nCome hungry and get ready to chow down with TWO competing BBQ rib trucks (Boss Hoggs & Case Del Fuego) – don’t forget to vote for your favourite! Kettle corn from Sweet Lake of the Woods\, Ye Old Chip Truck\, Franks Franks gourmet hot dogs and subs\, and Island Vibes Ice Cream. And of course\, we’ll be pouring plenty of Lake of the Woods beer and hard seltzer alllll weekend! \nWe’ll have live music (6:30-8:30) Friday (Red Moon Road) and Saturday (North Shore)\, with more performers to be announced! \nTake on the mechanical bull Friday (4:30-8:30)\, then test your aim with axe throwing on Friday & Saturday (11-9). Vendors will be set up throughout the weekend\, and Sunday is all about the kids with bouncy castles from Fun-tastic Castles from Thunder Bay!
