The book explores how a sport that is deeply loved across the country has also been shaped by serious issues\, including abuse\, hazing\, and sexual misconduct\, while examining how systems and institutions sometimes protected reputations over people. Drawing on survivor stories\, player experiences\, and major hockey investigations\, the book gives voice to those who have been harmed while also highlighting the growing movement to create safer\, more respectful\, and accountable sport environments.\nThis will be a free community event\, and we are currently looking for sponsors to help make it possible. The Fellowship centre is in partnership with Jubilee Church to host CNOY in Kenora\, Ont. \nThe finish location will be at Jubilee Church of God (https://maps.app.goo.gl/3tfKra9KH9Ar9M4F9)\, which offers food vouchers\, Christian fellowship and worship services\, non perishable food items\, grocery services for people with disabilities\, clothing\, and transportation options by offering rides or by providing Wave two way fare. Jubilee Church offers a community where the love of God and neighbour are celebrated and lived out. They are also a partner for this collaboration for CNOY in the heart of downtown Kenora.
