A 27-year-old man from Sioux Lookout has been killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 17 near Oxdrift.
The OPP say the accident took place around 9:30 this morning in the area of Latimer Road.
The driver of the pick-up truck was pronounced dead at the scene, while a passenger in the transport was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing with assistance from Technical Collision Investigation and Reconstruction teams.
A section of Highway 17 was closed for several hours while emergency crews and investigators were on scene.
