Sioux Lookout’s first baby of 2026

The first baby to be born at the Meno-Ya-Win Health Center in Sioux Lookout has arrived.

Hannah Doxtater-Wynn and Benoit Mailhot welcomed the arrival of their son early this morning at 2:08 a.m.

They have named him Elessar Mailhot.

The baby boy weighs 7 pounds, 8 ounces and measures 19.7 inches, or 50 centimetres long.
