Golden Eagle Bingo Hall to be transformed into a casino

The Golden Eagle Bingo Hall on the Wauzhushk Onigum First Nation will be transformed into a casino.

It made the announcement Wednesday morning on Facebook.

Gateway Casinos, which had been given the licence to build a casino in Kenora years ago, will be partnering with Golden Eagle on the project.

The new casino would include slot machines.

It says work will begin in the new year.
